Postgame was the initial brainchild of young professional Maya McClendon, a former D1 volleyball player and passionate mental health advocate. Her company was born from her desire to help her fellow athletes, providing them with the recourses they need to stay on top of their mental health even while enduring the stress and demand of college sports. Having played on the same team in high school, she reached out to me to create a case study and bring the brand to life in a visually unique way - something that would appeal to athletes of all genders, and was eye-catching enough to keep those athletes engaged with the brand.
Though her concept as tremendously evolved, both in changing the name and growing to the level of working with a formal design firm, I loved the opportunity to play with color and collaging while maintaining a more corporate look and feel. I utilized the distinct color palette, duo-tone photography, collaging and iconography to bring the full brand to life.
Note* As this was a case study, much of the content is filler.
